Why this page exists

Most publishers tell you what they think. Far fewer tell you how they got there. This page sets out how a Perspectives article is researched, written, reviewed and corrected, so you can judge the work by its process and not only by its conclusions.

Who writes here

ETREXIO is a software studio run by two senior builders working alongside an AI workforce. Everything published under Perspectives carries a named human byline, and that person is accountable for the article: its claims, its sources and its mistakes. We do not publish anonymously, and we do not publish under invented author personas.

How an article gets made

Articles are written by humans and AI together, in a loop rather than a handoff:

  • The AI drafts first, working from an editorial brief and from our own internal knowledge base.
  • A human fills in what a model cannot know: what we have actually seen while building and operating software, where the received wisdom is wrong, and which tradeoffs matter once a system is live.
  • The human editor then reads the whole piece line by line and rewrites what does not hold up.
  • The AI reviews it again against the brief, the sources, and our house rules on accuracy and tone.
  • Anything either side flags goes back around the loop.

An article ships only when both the human editor and the AI review pass it. In practice, most pieces go around more than once.

Where the material comes from

Three inputs, in this order of weight:

  • Our own operating experience. ETREXIO has shipped and maintains 50+ products, and our average client relationship runs about five years. Most of what is worth saying comes from that.
  • Our internal knowledge base. Notes, research and industry material we collect and index ourselves, so drafts start from what we already know rather than from a blank page.
  • Live external research. For anything time sensitive, such as current tooling, pricing, or the state of a market, we go and check the present-day sources.

How sources get checked

Sources are checked twice, independently. The AI verifies each reference against the live page it points to. Separately, a human opens the same references and confirms that the claim is genuinely supported by them and not merely adjacent to them. A reference only one side can confirm does not make it into the article.

Where an article rests on external references, we list them at the bottom of the piece with links, so you can check our reading against the original.

What we will not publish

  • Invented statistics, percentages or benchmark figures. If we cannot source a number, we do not use one.
  • Client names, project details or results we do not have permission to share.
  • Claims about competitors we cannot support. We name real alternatives and describe them fairly, including where they are the better choice.
  • Paid placements. Nobody can buy a mention, a ranking or a link in a Perspectives article.

On our use of AI

We are direct about this, because the industry usually is not. AI does real work here: drafting, structuring, research and review. It is never the last step, and it never publishes on its own. Every article passes through a human who can be named, contacted and held responsible for it. This is the same way we build software for clients: AI carries the volume, humans make the decisions.

Dates and updates

Every article shows its publication date, and shows an update date once it has been revised on a later day. When an argument or a figure needs to change, we update the article and move the date rather than leaving a stale version quietly in place.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it. Send the article and the specific claim, and we will correct the article itself rather than burying a note at the bottom.
